The power of knowledge and belief. A mama was once guided to initiate labor with her first baby, before her baby was ripe, and this little one was welcomed into the world surgically. This woman began to question, research and believe in her body. During her next labor she followed her body, felt a great rhythm and brought her baby all the way down and again was told by those around her, “ we know how this is done, do as we guide”, this babe was pulled into the world. This mama’s resolve and belief in her own wisdom expanded again. Her power was nurtured. This morning, mama followed her body, moving from the guidance and support of her own ancient wisdom. This baby, born in full caul, swam into the world and to her mama, arm’s open wide. Welcome Ruthie, you are a special gift.
